Dear Kendall Jenner

Dear Kendall Jenner,

If you’ve read my letter to your sister, you’re probably super nervous about the contents of this letter.

But you can relax, because I’m here to celebrate what a beautiful woman you’ve become.

When things come too easily to humans, they often become lazy or jaded. But you’ve taken the opportunities that were given to you, and you’ve used them to build an incredible career for yourself.

Many people will say that you wouldn’t have been able to be this successful, had you not been part of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. But that’s not true. You’ve dreamt of becoming a model from a young age, and you stopped at nothing to reach that dream – even dropping your last name to get taken more seriously in the industry. You’ve even risen above the bullying by other models – a beautiful example to young girls who get bullied on a daily basis.

I love that you’ve managed to stay true to yourself, despite being part of one of the fakest families of our time. Your sister, Kylie, is synthetic from head-to-toe, and whenever I see photos of her, I envision myself scrubbing all that makeup off her face.

But you’re still the same natural, radiant you.

I applaud you for making your dream a reality, for staying true to yourself and for being an awesome inspiration to so many women.

Continue pursuing your dreams – I’m rooting for you!

It was going so well until you mentioned Kylie. Now I must admit that this is the very first open letter/ I have read by you- and please note I will withhold my personal comments regarding the overall piece.. However I am disappointed by your attack on Kylie, calling her synthetic. Although my teens are way past me- I remember the feeling of either wanting to fit in or stand out- I took drastic measures by being the first of my friends to get a tongue ring (which I outgrew 2 years later) i dittered between being a total misfit and a wallflower because I was finding my identity. The fact that there was so much negativity leveled against Kylie regarding what appeared to be lip surgery shows what a strong spirit she must have to not allow that to make her change who she is. Everyday Kylie is called names all because she is carving out her own identity; something that’s more important because she is a Jenner of Kardashian fame. She is a teen!!! Allow her to be- she isn’t hurting anyone by being herself. I applaud Kylie for having the guts to be herself…something we should all try to be at least once in our lifetime.

Good letter. What I like about Kendall is that she doesn’t seem to be as attention hungry as the rest of her sisters. She’s beautiful the way she is naturally. I just hope she stays that way. 🙂
    PS. Love your blog.
