I haven’t done a lookpost since July, but last week I was gifted this beautiful bikini and I really wanted to share it with you guys.
I’m really fussy when it comes to bikinis, my check list includes:
- Zero nip slip in waves
- No butt crack
- Stretchy material
- Must have cups (Because my chest is flatter than the Karoo)
- No weird straps that’ll cause tan lines I have to live with until July
I met with Brittany from Salt Air last week to discuss her range and to chat about her beautiful rescue dog, Ollie. (When do I ever miss an opportunity to talk about dogs?) She’s got a big love for animals, and that why 5% of proceeds from all purchases go to Animal Welfare in South Africa. This is Ollie.
The Salt Air range is made using luxury material from Italy, but is made locally in Cape Town. I have a soft spot for local businesses and this, combined with the fact that she supports animal welfare, is one of the big reasons why I agreed to this sponsored post. I feel that this isn’t just a bikini from some big corporate – it truly has a lot of love in it.
On top of all of that it’s also really comfortable. Salt Air Swimwear is made of high quality lycra offering the perfect fit. The fabric is sustainable and ultra chlorine resistant, and has excellent UV protection. So your bikini won’t perish after one holiday.
You guys know me, I’m a bargain hunter, so the prices of the bikinis are a bit higher than my usual budget. But I’ve learnt that investing in a good bikini is absolutely worth it. I have one that I’ve worn for 4 years in a row, and its material is still impeccable even after travelling with it and wearing it to the beach every weekend.
To conclude, my Salt Air Bikini:
- Won’t nip slip in the waves, because it has a removable strap
- Doesn’t have butt crack, but does have some bum cheeks exposure (they need a bit of sun, so this isn’t altogether bad)
- Has stretchy material
- Has cups to give me a bit of support
- Won’t give me a weird tan
So if you’d like to check them out, you can do so here.
