My review of Avril Lavigne’s new song, Let Me Go – featuring Chad Kroeger

Last week I posted a photo of Avril Lavigne’s album cover of her single with her poodle husband, Chad Kroeger.

The cover was designed on MS Paint by a primary school kid who thought it would be funny to shoop a spook into the background.

I still find it deeply confusing that Avril is married to Nicklekak’s leadsinger. I find it almost as confusing as her blonde hair, but anyway, I’ll save all of that for her intervention letter which is coming soon.

As for music video – I am really happy that Mortricia Addams allowed them to shoot in her house. I am also very glad that Avril Lavigne still wears more eyeliner than a baby prostitute. This is probably the only thing she still has left over from her Let Go days.

The song is okay until Chad joins in. Then I want to Van Gogh myself.

I don’t understand the lyrics, either. Why is the song’s name Let Me Go when in the end she sings, “Don’t let me go”?

And who is she singing this to? Her awesome ex husband, Derek Webley? Because I doubt that he gives a dick about her after she left him for a poodle.

Or is she singing it to Chad? Because that would make sense, seeing as he’s a ghost and all.

The only good thing about this song is the fact that Avril Lavigne still has an amazing voice. It takes me back to my teenage years when I wore converse and pined after s8erbois.

Too bad Avril is now the girl with the pretty face whose head is up in space.

The Ameri-cants are still going to vote for this song and it will win a mtv award.

Daai ou oom is lis vir patat. Ek sou passop as ek sy was! Hy wil meer hark as net die blare. Die ou oom lyk ook confused aan die begin van die song. Net so confused soos die song my gelaat het
