A holiday, already? Wow, Anja. It's February. Calm down.
But you guys, March and April are coming. And with all those public holidays - it's basically like a second December. And if you're like me and you had to be online over the Festive Season, now's the time to take a proper break!
J-P and I absolutely love the East Coast, and last year we went to Jeffrey's Bay for Easter and in December we went to Port Elizabeth for a week. I find everything about the trip up charming, from stopping at little farm stalls in Robertson to finding a Wimpy in the most obscure little towns. (I love Wimpy. Don't judge me.)
But what I love the most, is the Garden...
Last month I wrote about places to stay when visiting Mauritius. Now I'd like to introduce you to some of the attractions in Mauritius.
When you think about Mauritius, palm trees and holiday resorts come to mind. But there's so much more to the island! I was fortunate enough to be shown what goes on outside the gates of the resorts, and I was enamoured by the spirit of this beautiful island.
Stop by the Chameral Waterfall on your way to the Seven Coloured Earth and The Curious Corner. It's quick, but so worth it - the view is spectacular.

The Curious Corner of Chamarel
Last year I went to De Hoop Nature Reserve for their annual Wine, Wales and Music Festival. I was only there for a few hours, but it was enough for me to vow to go back as soon as possible.
Exactly one year later I got the opportunity to visit De Hoop again for my blog, and it happened on a weekend with two memorable dates: Heritage Day, and our one year anniversary! So exciting!
J-P and I are celebrating our one year anniversary at @dehoopreserve this weekend. Here's to spending many more years together and watching that patch of grey beard grow. #NoAnjaWhyDidYouTalkAboutMyGreyHair A photo posted by Anja Wintour (@anjawintour) on Sep 24, 2016 at 5:31am PDT...
I was recently invited by World Leisure Holidays to visit Mauritius, and I got to see some of the most magnificent hotels on the island. I also saw some of the attractions, so I decided to do two articles about my trip to make sure you get the most out of your stay. Stay tuned for my article about some of the fun activities to do during your trip!
During my visit to Mauritius I saw 4 resorts, all of which were absolutely breathtaking. But two of them stole my heart, and here’s why.
La Pirogue Resort & Spa
I felt at home at La Pirogue from the moment I lay eyes on the ‘hippy chic’ design. Maybe it’s because it somehow reminded...
Living in Cape Town makes you obsessed with living in Cape Town. Seriously. Capetonians LOVE Cape Town. We love bragging about this place, and it’s easy to see why.

But this is not another article about that. This is an article about something I have kept in my heart for a long time.
There are certain places in Cape Town I’ve felt forced to like, because everyone likes it.
Today I decided to tell you what I really think of these places.
A certain shopping centre by the sea
Few things have the power to make me hate my life as much as going to this shopping centre. I have...
